Tears streamed down a little girl's cheeks, as she ran through the thick snow of Helsinki, in Finland. The youngster was running away for God knows how much. Her parents were murdered, and their house was set on fire, and she was alone, running away, having no choice but to live on the streets. Wearing only a thin sweater in the midst of winter was dangerous. Especially for a 5 year-old child. She could have died of hypothermia really quickly. She suddenly tripped over thick snow, as the child fell to the ground, fainted from the cold weather.
Blizzard-force winds blew ferociously throughout the empty streets, as a Finnish man, followed close behind by a taller, stoic, Swedish man, was rubbing his quivering body.
"S-S-Su-san, we should be heading home by now, the blizzard seems to be intensifying." The Finnish man said, clattering his teeth.
The Swedish man only nodded in reply.
Even though both men were dressed quite warm for such a horrid weather, it was still cold. When the Finnish man glanced forward, his eyes widened.
"Su-san, look over there! Is that--" The Finnish couldn't finish his sentence, as the Swedish man spoke in a deep, Swedish accent.
"' g'rl?" The Swedish man asked, as his expression remained as stoic as ever.
The Finnish man hurried towards the fainted girl in front of him, picking her up gently. The young girl had her eyes closed, but she wasn't breathing. The Finnish man placed his gloved hand gently to the girl's chest, to see if she was still alive, and if her heart was still beating.
Thankfully, she was still alive.
Her weak heart was still beating.
But very very slowly.
The Swedish man stared at the shorter man and the girl in his arms and crouched down next to him.
The Finnish man turned to the taller Swede.
"What should we do, Su-san? We can't leave her here! Or she'll die!" The Finnish man said in utter panic. The Swedish man stared at the other with his greenish-blue eyes, as he nodded, as he and the Finnish man carrying the girl stood up to their feet.
"She's so cold..." Murmured the Finnish man, as he carried the little girl in his arms bridal style. The warmth from his body radiating to the freezing-cold body of the fainted girl.
Upon arriving at their home, a loud, obnoxious, Danish accent rang through the house.
"OY! Finny's back! But...what's with the girl?" The Dane asked, as he took another swig of his beer.
"Quiet down, Ta-san! She's been through a lot!" The Finnish man said, still in a panicky state.
"And why would you take a girl off the streets?" Came an Icelandic accent.
"Su-san and I found her fainted on the snow. She could have died if we left her there." The Finnish man explained, as he gazed over to the girl in his arms.
"Are you sure you are up for it, Fin?" Came a monotone, Norwegian accent.
"Well, I suppose, Nor." Replied the Finnish man, as he carried the girl over to the lounge, and gently placed her the couch, and wrapped two or three blankets over her, to keep her temperature warm. The Norwegian man came over, eyeing the girl with his expressionless dark-blue eyes.
"Nor? Could you watch over her? Tell me if she wakes up." The Finnish man asked, as the Norwegian crouched down in front of the girl, and brushed aside {H/C} strands of hair from her face. The Finnish man chuckled, as he left the Norwegian watch over the little girl.

Hetalia belongs respectfully to Himaruya Hidekaz
And for the plot, I was inspired mostly by Charles Dickens' novel, "Oliver Twist".
